Another day of fun with CAS the clean and simple way of creating cards.
I have been searching the net for CAS challenges to enter and I found one that runs for a two weeks starting Saturday.
The blog is called Addicted to CAS.
Click here to see the blog, current challenge and rules to partake.
The ATCAS#23 code word is an autumn/fall inspired challenge.
Here is my card I designed and created for this challenge.
Click the images for more detail and larger view.
A simple layout..horizontal A2 card. Die cut layered squares on the cuttlebug on white and black textured card-stock.
Stamped the autumn leaves in fall colours with distress inks and using the rocking motion to add different colors to the leaves. Stamp them in a floating motion to the right across the three squares..Layer them like a picture frame and separate them for bit of an effect.
Then stamp a simple Celebrate the Season sentiment in the middle.
Finally with the crushed olive distress ink sponged the edges of the card to bring the whole design together.
Stamps used:
Leaves (rubber cling stamps) by Cloud9 Design
Sentiment (rubber cling stamps) by Vintage Christmas by Fiskars
Inks used:
Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Inks - Barn Door, Crushed Olive, Dried Marigold, Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade, Scattered Straw,
Die Cuts used:
3 in 1 Nesting Dies (Squares) by mpress - used with the cuttlebug.
There you go nice and easy...simple and clean card.
I really enjoyed creating this card, I like the pop of color the leaves create against the white..very cool.
Thats all for now, might check out other CAS challenges to enter....
ciao for now

I LOVE your leaves on that textured paper. Your 'floating motion' is awesome! The leaves really do look like they are flying around in the breeze. Gorgeous! Thanks so much for playing along at ATCAS xx
ReplyDeleteYour leaves look so pretty on the Bazzill cardstock Monika!
