A Vintage Happy Birthday Card

G'day

Thought I would create a Happy Birthday card with a difference.  Live Life to the Fullest and Travel the World with no limit to the Time you have to do your thing.

Here is my card.

A bit of an angle to show you the embossing over the card panel, after all the stamping and sponging.

I wanted something different so I used a round dome to showcase the front sentiment.  On the inside I stamped Happy Birthday.  I wanted to use the same ink color, so I stamped off in some images.

I also wanted to add texture and I remembered I had the cuttlebug embossing folder clockworks, which I think suites the challenge at The Crafters Cafe called Time Piece.

I saw another challenge and I wanted to incorporate some stitching, but, no machine at hand, so I used faux stitching on the top and bottom of the card, just for something out of the ordinary, i also stitched on the back of the card.

Add some bling and there you have it, a card with a difference, in my opinion.

I would like to enter my card in the following challenges :-

The Crafters Cafe Challenge Blog - challenge #63 Timepiece

Virgina's View - Challenge #3 Stitching

Seize the Birthday - Anything Goes Birthday

Addicted to Stamps & More - challenge #95 Photo Inspiration (color of bird and bird travels)

Addicted to CAS - challenge #38 Off the Edge

STAMPlorations Blog - challenge biweekly - sketch #11

Versafine - vintage sepia

KaiserCraft (clear stamps) - oriental, weekdays, sears & son, calendar & now boarding

Embossing Folder - cuttlebug clockworks
