An Awsome Card

Hi Ya

Wow I cannot get over this fiberglass tape....so many possibilities...and here is my second card using this tape.

How cool ha...the colors in real life a more fab then what you see....if i get a chance will take better pic later.

I love the combo colors of distress inks of barn door and wild honey...awesome.

Here is what I did....I stuck the fiberglass tape in the middle and then diagonally sponged on alternating with wild honey and barn door inks.  While that was drying...I remembered I had rubber stamps from STAMPlorations - 'All About You' which I had not used yet...what a fantastic word AWESOME to use...so i started stamping around the grid, dipping the stamp in wild honey and barn door and getting these awesome color combos....i could have been more careful in placement...but i think is ok.

I then sponged inbetween with wild honey...lightly...to give the card a bit of color.
Then i peeled of the tape and tada....a white grid.....how cool....love the look.

Then i found in the same rubber set the words YOU ARE.... stamped sponged in with wild honey and edged with barn door and then cut out and put a couple of pop dots for a bit of height.....and there you have.....You are awesome card....oh and i sponge around the card with barn door to enclose my favorite card ever.....

Hmm...love the grid tape, love the words stamps.....tinkering another card!!!!

Hmmmm I wonder what challenges i can enter this card in......

cheers for now

Best Wishes Grid Card

G'day

A couple of days to myself and I have been able to create a card for CAS(E) this Sketch challenge #55

Here is my card

I think it cool cause I found this fiberglass tape for joining plaster boards.
Love how you can use this one. It is tacky on one side. Thus you can stick it on or stick it on and ink over and then take it off and tada...you have a grid....I made another card with this second technique, just so awesome.

Ok then.... I taped down the grid tape, sponge strips with distress ink in crushed olive and broken china....I think blue and green are cool together.  I then fussy cut my favorite blue flower and put on a pop dot for height and complemented with two smaller one flowers and glued them on, then added stick on jewels for a bit of sparkle.  Finally added a stamped sentiment with jet black ink.  Then I was thinking would it be nice to border off the grid....then thinking I have no blue twine...but then again I am stasher of yarn...thus I choose a light blue yarn and glued it around the grid....gotta get me some more twine in different colors....yarn a bit too thick i think.

Inks used : Tim Holtz distress inks - crushed olive and broken china

Stamps used : fiskars - floral fair, sentiment - part of a birthday set of clear stamps

I love this grid tape so cool....stay tuned for another card using this fiberglass tape.

Cheers

Just a simple card stamped with my favorite flower rubber stamp from Floral Flair by Fiskars and a sentiment precious memories.   Stamped with distress ink called broken china and vintage sepia by versfine.  Final touch of sparkle to the center of the flowers with stick on jewels.
